General Summary
The 340B Program Analyst works directly with the Primary Contact to ensure Phelps Health’s 340B Program compliance and program integrity. They are responsible for coordinating all aspects of the 340B Program by monitoring all activities contributing to accurate 340B accumulations and purchases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
340B Program auditing
Participate in self-and external audits
Identify any risks and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion
Evaluate patient eligibility and 340B compliance
Supervise and audit 340B Third Party Administrator (TPA) platforms/software: coordinate purchasing and buyer compliance.
Review invoices to validate prices and quantities. Work through all identified problems to resolution. Manage 340B replenishment for all areas of use, including mixed-use, child-sites, and contract pharmacies.
Review 340B Program policies and procedures on an ongoing basis and offer contributions and changes to ensure 340B compliance
Assist in the development and presentation of 340B Program education.
Financial Analysis
Recognize 340B financial impact
Reporting
Develop reports to assist in tracking financial impact of 340B to Phelps Health
Monitor, report, and analyze 340B Program operational data
Develop and foster working relationships with internal working counterparts (IT, auditors, accounting, and others) as well as external relationships (Contract Pharmacies & TPAs) to facilitate productive exchanges of information to improve program efficiency and promote program compliance.
Support Pharmacy Technicians when specific needs are identified Pharmacy Leadership.
Expand professional development through related classes and seminars, current publications, and regional/national association membership participation.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience
Minimum of 2 years working in a pharmacy, possessing knowledge of general pharmacy operations required.
Knowledge of the 340B Program preferred.
Certification/License
Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
340B University Certificate and other 340B Education preferred.
Mental/Physical Requirements
Considerable mental concentration required completing duties. Requires prolonged times of sitting with frequent standing, bending and stooping.
